Hi, I’m Carrie!
I’m the crochet designer and creator behind Crochet Stitch Finder. I’ve been crocheting for over 15 years and I love discovering beautiful stitches, exploring texture and finding creative ways to use crochet in modern projects.
I first learned to crochet by watching YouTube tutorials and it quickly became something I completely fell in love with. Over the years, crochet has grown from a creative hobby into a huge part of my life and work.
I especially love stitches that create beautiful texture, interesting structure and a polished finish. I’m always drawn to techniques that look impressive but are still enjoyable to make.
Why I Created Crochet Stitch Finder
Crochet Stitch Finder was created to make discovering and learning crochet stitches easier. I wanted to build a beautiful, organised library where crocheters could browse stitches by style, texture and technique instead of searching through endless patterns.
Whether you’re learning the basics or looking for something new to try, my goal is to make each stitch tutorial clear, practical and inspiring.

A Little More About Me
Alongside Crochet Stitch Finder, I’m the designer and creator behind Crochet With Carrie, where I’ve spent years designing modern crochet patterns and teaching crochet online. I love creating pieces that feel wearable and approachable, and I’m especially passionate about helping crocheters build confidence and try new techniques.
When I’m not crocheting, I love spending time at home in the Irish countryside, going for walks and finding inspiration in colour, texture and nature.
Let’s Keep Exploring
I hope Crochet Stitch Finder becomes a place you can return to whenever you need inspiration, want to learn something new or simply feel like browsing beautiful crochet stitches.
